Together we can "Make It Grand Again"
GRAND 5K Walk/Run
MAY 12, 2012

JOIN US for the second anniversary GRAND 5K Walk/Run. We are rebuilding the theater, but need your help to make it happen. Insurance proceeds are not enough to get the theater back in a "Grand" way. The rebuilt theater is required to meet the requirements of today such as American with Disabilities Act (ADA), all current building and fire codes, along with many other regulations that did not exist when the Theater was originally built in 1924. These all have added costs to the rebuilding project.

YOU CAN make a difference by supporting us.  Come out and walk or run for the Grand! It is simple to register.  Just click on the link to register along the left edge and follow the simple directions.  If you just want to donate click the button below.  Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on May 12, 2012!

We are a non-profit, 100% volunteer 501(c)3 corporation.

On May 14, 2010 we lost a building that was more than just bricks and mortar, it represented our soul.  The Grand has been an integral part of downtown Williamstown since 1924.  The Road Company has been a part of its history since the late 1980s.  We brought back live entertainment to Monroe Township and to the Grand.  We produce high quality musicals, dramas and comedies at an affordable price for the community to enjoy!  We hold theater workshops and offer children’s programs.  We partner with area charities such as the local food bank, cell phones for soldiers, the Sunshine foundation and the South Jersey Aids Coalition, just to name a few.  We have fostered new theater companies such as The Actor’s Core, Stage Left Productions and Collaborative Act studios.

Thanks to everyone’s outstanding efforts last year we were able to achieve a major milestone in the rebuilding process - the funds from the first Grand 5K Walk/Run were used to purchase the lot next to the Grand at 12 Library Street. This purchase solved multiple problems - the construction crews will now have easy access to the site and the theater will gain some wing space along with a workshop area.
